With all of the amazing donut spots around town, I found it only fair to give each place the ultimate donut test.
How the donut test works:
- Choose a 1/2 dozen donuts
- Get a good variety of flavors
- Eat them all (with help)

Meet the contenders:
Rating: 8
Description: Sweet with a little citrus tang
Thoughts: Most pleasantly surprised by this one. The tart filling is superb.
Rating: 7
Description: Light Cinnamon Roll
Thoughts: Would be best if warm, otherwise is just alright.
Rating: 6.5
Description: Strawberry shortcake meets strawberry yogurt meets powdered donut
Thoughts: Not a personal fave, but extra points for the fresh berries.
Rating: 8
Description: The name describes it all
Thoughts: The frosting IS the oreo cream filling. I'd rather just have an oreo experience
Rating: 8.5
Description: A cinnamon-sweet potato donut with festive cream cheese frosting
Thoughts: Perfect for the Fall. A bite into Thanksgiving.
Rating: 10
Description: Just the right amount of nutella spread (with a hint of crunch) on a perfectly crafted donut
Thoughts: WINNER!! Now, I must say after my European days I am a bit over nutella. But, this just brought me right back. Definitely the favorite.
The AFTERMATH
Sublime Donuts definitely lives up to the hype.
Makes perfect sense that they win Best Donuts in Atlanta every year.
There are even more donuts to try (see list below)...that Elvis is next on the list.
