A Trip to Scott's Antique Market

I had heard about Scott's Antique Market for some time, but had yet to make the trek to South Atlanta to visit.
With a new apartment next month, my eyes were truly peeled for good finds.

Patience is a must at this place as there are many things to filter through and it's quite big, so no grumpiness allowed.

There are 3 parts to Scott's and at first I was pretty confused.

Once you exit for the Exposition Center you can either go left for one large building or right for another. We were told that the left was uber expensive, so I decided not to even step foot inside. We went right and visited the other market. There was a variety of things: lots of furniture, jewelry and in home pieces. They had some great and some not so great things here. Prices were fairly reasonable.

Outside of the building in the "Garden Center" is where I really hit the jackpot. I love me a good flea market and this is what I found this area to be. Lots of vintage things and an entire scrap yard. I was pretty pleased here and prices were great! Don't miss this part.

There is also some good down-home Southern food in the building so if you're up for some of the things listed below make sure to save room for lunch.

Scott's Antique Market is only open the second weekend of every month. Thursday through Sunday.
We visited on a Sunday which someone had suggested we do.
Vendors are more likely to lower prices on the last day, but the inventory may not be as large.
We still found it to be a good day to go.

With patience and time in tow, Scott's is a must.

Check out their website for more info:

You might even catch this precious man.
If you stand there long enough he'll sing you a personalized song.
This may be worth the trip in and of itself.
